Broad River Retail is the largest Licensee of Ashley Homestore in the U.S., spanning the northeast across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

MY ROLE AT BROAD RIVER RETAIL

As the Graphic Designer at Broad River retail, I was in charge of designing printed and digital assets that were distributed to every store in the Northeast. General color palette and sale copy would be given to us by Ashley Homestore’s corporate office, which I then would use as a starting point for my designs. Adhering to the brand guidelines of AHS was a must and always took top priority, but I enjoyed the creativity and challenge that came with designing for each event. I also created assets for internal use at Broad River Retail’s corporate office and social media pages.

During my time at Broad River, I:

  • Collaborated closely with marketing, product, and leadership to produce design assets for upcoming campaigns while using optimal brand and product positioning.

  • Designed printed assets like billboards, stanchion signs, door clings, and in-store signage for each campaign at Ashley Homestore, distributed to 37 stores across the Northeast. Many of these designs included custom illustrations.

  • Designed digital assets for Ashley Homestore like paid ads, social media graphics, billboards, and branded campaign elements for web and video production.

  • Created internal assets for Broad River, including the annual report book, social media graphics, and email newsletter design.
